Glassfiber Mat For Roofing System

Reinforced Glassfiber Mat is mainly used as the substrate for APP or SBS modified bitumen membrane or asphalt roof shingle. It is an ideal roofing material for waterproof bitumen membrane and asphalt roof shingle because of its properties such as anticorrosion, light weight, long lasting, high tensile strength, water proofing, good dimensional stability, high porosity, easy to be soaked by bitumen, and convenient to be repaired. Meanwhile, the glassfiber mat can be also used as thermal barrier material for houses, and isolates the heat insulation foam and corrosive solvent in asphalt shingles, thus, increases the operating life of the heat insulation layer.
